New designs
These new designs are based on scenes from one of my favourite places - Calderstones Park in Liverpool. My heart has always been routed in nature, and in all aspects of the countryside, but living in a city can bring its own places of peace & natural beauty. Even in the depths of this busy and vibrant city. I am often transported to a place that equals the best the countryside can offer.

Avenue
This Avenue of tall trees is graceful, calming, and ever changing throughout the seasons. Its path has benches for those who wish to rest, and a gentle curve which gives the wanderer the feeling of beauty unending. The original image was taken in Calderstones Park, Liverpool

Seasonal Favourites.

Herb Robert
I think the Herb Robert is one of the most underrated little wild flowers, with glowing pink and mauve flowers, and fern shaped leaves. This original plant is from RSPB Leighton Moss, near Carnforth. Although they grow in many places -often where they are unwanted, or under appreciated, I love them - even when sneakily growing in shaded corners of my little garden.

Wooded Hollow
This is a wooded hollow, full of atmosphere & ethereal beauty, and  of peace & tranquillity.

The original photograph was taken within Calderstones Park, Liverpool,  I’ve often lost myself in the various hidden parts of this huge & beautiful park.

The picture was adapted using various techniques in creative computing

Robin Redbreast

Our cheeky, harmonious robin is a beautiful bird with its striking red breast. Their song always lifts me and I sometimes wish I could sing back to them. Although this bird has become a potent symbol of Christmas, it's an ever constant visitor to our gardens, parks & countryside. We have taken it to our hearts, allowing its melodious lilt to lift our spirits.  Long may it sing its song, through all seasons.

Nature - Faith - Colour
Working in Harmony
These three elements sum up my work

I use a variety of techniques to create my designs - Photography, Watercolour, Collage, drawing - then I blend, layer and adapt them using a well-honed range of creative computing skills to produce these vibrant, unique images

Watercolour

Watercolour paintings form the background of a variety of my images.

Photograpy

My photographs are the starting point for many of my designs. Images from nature frequently catch my eye.

Collage

I  like layering tissue paper collage. In creative computing they become something else entirely.

Layer & Blend

Blending images takes time and care. Finding the right pictures that work together takes time and skill.
